Who is Buster York
David Schiedt. Creative Director, Designer, Illustrator.
David, has worked in the advertising & Design industry for over 30 some years. Active in the Denver market he has provided advertising solutions for local and regional accounts, as well as national accounts.
Starting his career as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator, he opened his own studio in 1980 that eventually merged with a small locally owned advertising agency. Along with his two partners, David helped grow their 8 person agency into the largest independently owned ad agency in Denver, with an approximate 80 million in billings and 140 employees. Acting as Creative Director to various creative teams as well as providing hands on contributions to the work, including Strategic and Creative Development, Art Direction, Design and Illustration.
His work has received many local and regional awards and has been published in such trade publications as Print and Communication Arts.
He is currently acting as Creative Director for the Denver office of Buster York Creative. Offering a wealth of strategic and creative thinking coupled with hands on execution of illustration and design.

I am a problem solver. I take the puzzles that are my clients’ business and marketing challenges and develop creative solutions to them.
By delving into my clients’ businesses and the minds of their customers, I create communications that strike consumers in the head and the heart.
There is a clear connection between smart strategy and breakthrough creative.
By bringing strategy and creative together, I’m able to develop relevant and original ideas that resonate with the customer. Ensuring that each creative solution is unique and designed to speak directly to a specific audience. In much the same way one would customize a mailing list or a media buy the creative solution, and it’s execution, must be custom.
I offer Creative Direction, Design and Illustration. These skills allow me to develop outstanding creative communications for intelligent, aggressive clients.
